Yoga!

I have been busy this fall doing some serious professional development in the form of completing my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training with Yoga Works! This is a huge step for me in my continued commitment to bringing arts and healing together in all of my work.

There will be some kids yoga classes popping up around town very soon, likely to accompanied by some really great music. ;) (Keep your eyes open for announcements!) This can be a great transition after your child graduates from World Citizen Baby classes. I will also be teaching some classes for adults. I'm looking to build both restoratives and flow classes. We'll keep you posted on the developments.

Even as this expansion into the field of yoga takes place, we continue to grow World Citizen Baby music and movement for babies, toddlers and the people who love them. I thank you all for your continued support of World Citizen Baby and for continuing to build this great community.

New Curriculum!

We at World Citizen Baby are working on our final (for now) curriculum set! When completed, you and your family will have 2 full years of World Citizen Baby music to listen to before starting over again. We strive to keep bringing the highest quality songs from around the world to you and your family. We know that the cds get played over and over again the car (that's great! That's where learning happens!) so we know that its important for mommies and daddies to have variety. We are recording now, and are looking at a January release for the new cd.

We'll keep you posted on any new developments.

Creative Movement at Heartbeat House

Sarah is teaching Creative Movement classes for 2-4 year olds at Heartbeat House Tuesdays 10:40-11:25 am. We explore different kinds of movement, including gentle warm ups, animal walks, spinning, jumping, moving across the floor and basic barre work through creative imaginative play and books. Props such as scarves and streamers are used to add more dynamics to movement. If you little one loves to dance, this is a great place to cultivate the love of physical expression while connecting movement to music.

Drop in classes are available.
